Located at MM 92.5 on the Oceanside

This is another public park where you can bring your children and almost guarantee a good time. There are lots of natural formations and things to explore, that kids will find fascinating. There's a tiny beach dotted with the cutest miniature shells, which beg to be collected. There's a lagoon for swimming, surrounded by a walkable circular jetty made of stones. Should you feel the urge to get really active with your kids or with whoever you are travelling with that day, behind the beach there's more to do: you'll find a playground and all kinds of activity areas, such as a ball field, a volleyball net, an inline skating park, and picnic areas. There are restrooms. To get there, look for Burton Drive, which is at mile marker 92.5, and turn toward the ocean. Go on Burton Drive for about 2 miles, following signs for the park. It's free during the week and not free on the weekends. There's a boat ramp, too. Open 8am to sunset.
